Chicken Shawarma

You are in the Middle East and the first thing you should try is Shawarma. It is very much like kebab but with more ingredients. I should warn you that eating a shawarma can get a little messy so watch out for that. Wonderful, delicious and fast option for lunch.

Camel

I know it is not the first thing that comes to your mind when I say food but it’s a popular dish in Dubai. Stuffed camels are easy to find in restaurants. The chef stuffs the camel with herbs and spices and then roasts it for richer flavors.

Manousheh

It is the Dubai style adaption of pizzas. It is basically a flatbread stuffed with exotic ingredients like salty Akkawi cheese, earthy zaatar herbs, olive oil or with creamy sour labneh and sweet jam, eggs, and minced lamb. The contradicting toppings give the manousheh a unique taste.

Al Machboos

If you love rice then this dish is going to be your favorite. Rice with onion, meat, and incredible Middle Eastern spices, will soon become your favorite dish. It is perfect for dinner, accompanied by salads and yogurt raita.

Desserts

Dubai is a heaven for those who live for sweets. The vast variety of desserts will leave anyone speechless. The list of must-tries reaches eternity but for this article, we picked the most famous ones:
